Arthur Jampolsky is a leading strabismologist (ophthalmologist specializing in strabismus). He is the founder and director of the Smith-Kettlewell Institute in San Francisco and practiced ophtalmologic surgery from 1946 through 1996 and now participates in research, particularly in visual rehabilitation.
