Zachary David "Zach" Porter (born December 10, 1989) is an American musician, known as the lead singer of the pop band Allstar Weekend.
Early Life and Career
editPorter was born in Poway, California. Zachary Porter, Nathan Darmody, and Cameron Quiseng all went to high school together. Michael Martinez went to a rival high school but was still good friends with the other three members of the band. Allstar Weekend is not their original band name. Due to legal issues, the band's name was changed from Outerspace Politicians to ALLSTAR. When this name also became a problem, they changed their name to Allstar Weekend. According to various interviews, they chose the word "Weekend" to be added to the end because weekends are often relished by many people, and this idea helps to connect with the audience. On June 22, 2010, the band realeased their first studio album, Suddenly. Since then, [[Allstar Weekend] has realeased numerous music videos and has performed on Disney Channel's Sonny With A Chance.
Personal Life
