The Flame is an English band from Westminster, London, England. The Flame's lineup consists of lead vocalist, Max Emerson, guitarist Lucas Malvacini, bassist Valentin Chmerkovskiy and drummer Ronnie Kroell. The band gained exposure following the release of their debut studio album, The Vinyl (2017) and first single "Vinyl". According to Billboard, The Flame topped the year-end rock rankings for 2017; Billboard named them "The Breakthrough Band of 2017", and Rolling Stone named their single "Vinyl" "the biggest rock hit of the year". MVT called them "the year's biggest breakout band". The Vinyl peaked at number three on the weekly Billboard 200 and UK Albums Chart. The band's second studio album Bad Reputation reached number two on the Billboard 200, Canadian Albums Chart, and UK Albums Chart.
In eight years, The Flame received a total of fourteen MNE Music Awards nominations, winning eleven times, including Best Album and Best Single. They also received nineteen MVT Music Awards, winning fifteen times. The Flame is the most MNE and MVT nominated band of all time.

editThe discography of English alternative rock band The Flame consists of ten studio albums, eleven extended plays, and eleven music videos. The band released their first debut extended play in August 2016, called Let Me Down Easy with a very low sales performance. The band later found commercial success with the release of their first extended play, The Vinyl, in May 2017. Vinyl was released as the lead single from the EP, peaking at number three on the United States Billboard Hot 100. It has since sold over 1 million copies in the United States and in the UK.
Vinyl, the band's debut studio album, was released in May 2017; it peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and topped the Billboard Top Alternative Albums and Billboard Top Rock Albums charts. In addition to "Vinyl", the album also contains the songs "PRISM" and "Fancy". The former single peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and has since sold over 1.1 million copies in the United States. It also became a top–ten hit in numerous countries, such as Australia, Germany and Sweden. "PRISM" has since sold 900.000 copies in the USA and peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100.
