Luis Rafael Mejía Oviedo (born 04 SEPTEMBER 1953). He is an Economics Graduate of the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo[1] . Presides the dominican olympic committee (Colimdo)[2] , member of International Olympic Committee (IOC)[3]  and actual President of Central American and Caribbean Sports Organization (CACSO) 2019-2023.[4][5]

The Dominican Republic Olympic Committee is the organization that represents Dominican athletes in the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Pan American Games.

The Dominican Republic Olympic Committee is headquartered in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The organization is currently directed by Luis Mejía Oviedo.

The President of Dominican Republic Olympic Committee, Luis Mejía Oviedo was assigned as a member of the Official Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for Women and Sports in 2014.

Mejía's designation came as part of an official visit to the IOC  headquarters, Lausanna, Switzerland.

Mejía becomes the third Dominican to be part of an instance of the IOC.
