Abandonware repositories
edit- VETUSWARE.COM, self-proclaimed as "the biggest free abandonware downloads collection in the universe."
- WinWorld, another abandonware archival service specializing in classic versions of Microsoft Windows.
- Vimm's Lair, a retro video game archival site. Unfortunately, Nintendo, Sega, and Lego, et al., issued DMCA takedowns to Vimm's Lair and other ROM hosting sites, so a huge chunk of the site has been gutted of classic titles like Super Mario 64 and Sonic CD are unavailable.
Abandonware
edit- Windows Vista (kernel version NT 6.0). An ISO for a pre-activated, 64-bit version of Windows Vista Ultimate with Service Pack 2.
- Windows 7 (kernel version: NT 6.1), an ISO image containing the Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate versions of Windows 7.
- Windows XP Professional RTM (kernel version: NT 5.1), an ISO for the greatest operating system ever made: Windows XP. This version is the first public release, so there are no service packs installed.
- Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 3) [kernel version NT 5.1], same as the above, except the final service pack is installed.
- V7/x86, a port of the Seventh Edition of the Unix operating system to x86-based PCs.
Web browser
edit- TuneMyMusic lets you transfer your music library from one streaming service to another. Supported services include, but are not limited to, Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, YouTube, Amazon Music, and Deezer.
- Typewrite Something does exactly what the title implies: Type on the screen as if you're on an old-fashioned typewriter. Complete with mechanical typing and carriage return sounds!
- Virtual x86, JSLinux, and OnWorks allow you to run several x86 and GNU/Linux-based operating systems within a Web browser.
- Overleaf, a cloud-based LaTeX editor.

edit- Supermium, a Chromium fork designed to work on older, unsupported versions of Windows NT.

- UTM, a GUI frontend for the QEMU hypervisor.
- uBar, a Windows-style taskbar that replaces the Dock.
Linux
