About Me
editI am a junior at Truman State University. I am currently enrolled in the Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies course, which is what has caused me to create a wiki-page. I've been approved as an Environmental Studies major, with a minor in Biology. I hope to be able to do something really cool that involves being outdoors, appreciating the environment, and possibly teaching little kids.
I was born in Moline, Illinois in August of 1988. I lived in the same house my mom grew up in until I was ten years old. At that point, I moved to Saint Louis, Missouri where I have lived ever since. I have a twin sister, as well as three other sisters, and a brother.
I enjoy reading articles about the environment, television shows, and animals. I have no real experience with editing Wikipeida pages, or even computer programming at all, but hope that I am starting to get the hang of things by now. We will have to wait and see what else comes up, but for now enjoy some more basic information that I've put up.

Job History
editStarting in sixth grade, I began volunteering at the Saint Louis Science Center. Beginning in the summer of 2007, I started working as a camp counselor for the Summer Science Blast camp program at the Saint Louis Science Center. I continued my work as a camp counselor, donning a bright bubblegum pink t-shirt every day, in the summer of 2008. During the summer I taught kids about the science behind topics such as rockets, natural disasters, and paleontology. For more information about the Summer Science Blast camp program visit http://www.slsc.org/content.aspx?id=343.
