Joseph (Joe) Lander (born 19 September 2002) is an up-and-coming English director and author of ‘Murder Anonymous’. His most notable media products include ‘The Joker’, ‘Inside NCS’ and ‘The Kidnapper’.

Lander was born in Helston, Cornwall, into a media filled household. He was encouraged to play music, engage in drama and local creative opportunities. Every year he performed in pantomimes- including Aladdin, The Frog Prince and Alice in Wonderland- with his father Terry Lander who, after Joe completed his primary education at Parker Gloss, invested in and became executive producer at BlueSubMedia which Joe founded at Helston Community College. During his secondary school career and whilst achieving a Grade 6 in acoustic guitar, Joe Lander published his first novel, Murder Anonymous, with lyvit Publishing (owned by his father) and Amazon which he later adapted into a film production. Before achieving a Level 2 BTEC in Aviation Studies he attended Air Cadets, in 2015 he also won the Trinity Arts Award and produced an unreleased song called ‘Little Dolphin’. He adapted his father’s novel ‘Natalie’s Fiendish New Headteacher’ into a play and his creative endeavors began to take flight. In the summer of 2019, Lander participated in the ‘identity building’ experience of NCS- a British youth program- and was later appointed a member and chairman of both the South West Regional Youth Board and the Cornwall local board. From this point his life ‘pivoted’ and he enhanced his time at Truro College with the production of most BlueSubMedia products.
