Editorial scope
editCurrent Medical Research and Opinion is a MEDLINE-indexed international peer-reviewed journal for the rapid publication of original research on new and existing drugs, drug-delivery devices and therapies. The journal publishes contributions in the form of editorial commentary, reviews, brief reports and full-length articles.[1]
Current Medical Research and Opinion is published by Informa Pharmaceutical Sciences, a division of Informa plc. The journal is edited by Dimitri P Mikhailidis, Reader and Hon. Consultant, Head of Clinical Biochemistry Dept, Royal Free Hospital and University College London Medical School.[2]
The journal, first published in 1972, has a 2007 Impact Factor of 2.962[3]. CMRO is published continuously online and 12 times per year in print.
