MBCF and all staff in his lab are members in good standing in the Association of Biomolecular Resource Facilities (ABRF).[3] Currently MBCF's lab is in the shadow of Fenway Park, 450 feet behind home plate.[4]
Besides enjoying the manipulation of DNA and protein MBCF also likes to use computers since the end result of DNA and protein data require computers extensively. That also required him to learn HTML coding in 1994 since he had to allow researchers to send and retrieve data from his lab. Wikipedia has been MBCF's information source for many years but he never got around to making an account until October 31, 2005. With this page MBCF is now officially addicted to Wikipedia.[5]
A comment about userboxes. Some of them aren't a perfect match. If someone could find the userbox which states "User is a pathetic guitar player but wishes he was better" or "User is both a PADI and NAUI certified scuba diver but wishes he had made it up to Rockport in the past 18 years", MBCF will replace them.[6]
Update: Now have a house in Rockport and will be buying a used set of scuba gear (bc/regulator/tanks) this Saturday Sept 27, 2008. Going to make that userbox for real again! Update update: Only need a flag, a float, and 23 pounds of weights.
