Candidate Rights Edits Since RfAR/RfC RfX Questions and Guides MBisanz's Vote
AnthonyQBachler (talk · contribs) 394 2003-09-16 Questions  User appears to lack a basic comprehension of policies, in particular, their take on de-arbing based on developer consensus is rather concerning.
BillMasen (talk · contribs) 1,169 2005-06-08 Questions  Editor seems unfamiliar with many of the aspects of the job are arbing, in particular with reviewing and drafting cases as the primary work an arbitrator performs.
Carcharoth (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 13 44,056 2005-01-08 A, A RfA Questions  I generally like Carcharoth and find himt o be effective at the disputes he intervenes in. However, I am somewhat concerned with his lack of willingness to make truly difficult calls. He seems better skilled as a researcher and provider of evidence than as the person who would need to make a vote to ban a user.
Casliber (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 20 44,885 2006-05-05 RfA Questions  Even though Casliber does not have much DR experience, he seems to be dedicated to doing the right thing.

166,575 2002-02-25 A, A, C RfA, RfArb1, RfArb2 Questions  Charles has been a reasonable arbitrator and one of the site's oldest members. However, some of the positions he has taken lead me to believe he is nearing burnout as an arbitrator (150,000+ edits is a lot), and might be best served by taking a year or two off and then trying again for Arbcom.
Cool Hand Luke (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 49 11,270 2004-02-07 A RfA Questions - Voter Guide  I can accept WP editors having WR accounts, I have one myself primarily for reading the tarpit, but as I noted with Neil, sometimes participation at WR goes beyond what I feel is criticism and approaches some other concept. I worry that CHL will not place WP's interests at the forefront of his decisions. Also, the viewpoint of "When anonymity gets in the way of building an encyclopedia, it is not sacred" is one that highly highly concerns me. Anonymity is sacred at Wikipedia, whether or not we personally agree with that concept, respecting individuals' right to privacy is something we need to protect.
Coren (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 12 9,084 2003-05-07 A RfA1, RfA2, RfA3, RfBAG Questions - Voter Guide  I've usually worked with Coren at the bot approvals group and found him to be an unbiased individual. I believe arbcom will be well suited with him as a member.
Dream Focus (talk · contribs) 614 2006-07-18 Questions  The idea of a lone arbitrator deciding things are referred to in his answer to WilyD's question shows either a lack of understanding of the arbitration role or a concerning belief about what it should be, I cannot support based on that and his lack of experience.
Fish and karate (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) f/k/a Neil; Proto A 32 26,764 2005-03-31 RfA1, RfA2, RfB, RfArb Questions - Voter Guide  I have concerns as to Neil's ability to place WP and its best interests above those of other forums, seems prone to point actions, which even when successful, tend to leave a sour taste.
George The Dragon (talk · contribs) R 8 4,338 2006-01-30 RfA Questions  I've worked with George and like him as a user and probably even an admin, but I feel he has the wrong mindset for Arbing at this time.
Gwen Gale (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) f/k/a Wyss a/k/a The Witch A 6 27,953 2006-11-23 A RfA1, RfA2 Questions  I do like Gwen, but, three things, one, the business with the Wyss account was rather opaque before questions were asked which ocncerns me, and two, she says that being an arb requires about 20 hours a month of work, from my discussions with arbs and ex-arbs, it would seem that is a rather low figure, lastly, six months as an admin is a bit low on experience for me.
Hemlock Martinis (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 19 13,135 2006-04-03 RfA, ER Questions - Voter Guide  While HM frequently proposes ideas I may disagree with and does not have much experience in DR, I can bring myself to support him on the basis of his level-headedness and unbiased approach to dealing with other editors.
Jayvdb (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A, O

31,018 2004-09-05 RfA Questions - Voter Guide  My work with Jay and seeing how he approaches matters gives me strong faith in his ability as an arbitrator.

15,594 2003-02-27 A RfA, RfArb1, RfArb2 Questions  Well James is a good Wikipedian and one of the historic founding members of arbcom. While I may not always agree with his decisions, I feel he does place Wikipedia's interests first. However, his low activity over the past year prevents me from supporting him.
Jehochman (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 13 19,492 2005-03-22 A, A, A, A, A, A, A, A, C, C RfA, ER Questions - Voter Guide  Withdrawn
Justice America (talk · contribs) 168 2008-06-12 Questions  While I am generally open-minded, the candidate has not edited since declaring his candidacy over 15 days ago, I cannot support someone who is this inexperienced and inactive.
Kmweber (talk · contribs) R 10 6,332 2004-05-08 C, C RfA Questions - Voter Guide  Kurt is a good content editor whose work truly shines in the Article space. Sadly, outside the Article space, Kurt has some rather glaring problems in working with other editors, which leads me to this oppose.
Lankiveil (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 3 8,239 2004-08-12 RfA, ER Questions  I do like Lankiveil, and his editing. While he has been around for a good while, I would want to see more experience with the bit, learning to close AFDs, performing difficult blocks, etc to a greater degree, to be able to support.
Lifebaka (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 5 8,910 2007-01-21 RfA Questions  I do like Lifebaka, and his editing. While he has been around for a good while, I would want to see more experience with the bit, learning to close AFDs, performing difficult blocks, etc to a greater degree, to be able to support.

Risker (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 6 9,963 2005-12-27 RfA Questions - Voter Guide  In my dealings with Risker, she has always been a highly competent editor and administrator. However, I feel that she is still a bit green with the administrative tools (600 admin actions) to be able to discern if she has the stamina for the rather unwieldy and unpopular position she is seeking. Therefore, I neutral.
Rlevse (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · moves · rights · renames · global renames) A, B, C
21, 4, 2
61,355 2005-11-15 RfA1, RfA2, RfB Questions - Voter Guide  Rlevse's work as a content editor and an administrator has shown a broad range of skills that I believe will serve him well on the committee.
RMHED (talk · contribs) R 10 9,286 2006-02-08 RfA1, RfA2 Questions  Seems like a good editor, maybe even a sysop someday, but his temperament does not seem to match well form Arbing.
Roger Davies (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) a/k/a Roger Davis A 10 18,932 2005-09-17 RfA Questions  Even though Roger does not have much DR experience, he seems to be dedicated to doing the right thing. I hope his experiences at MILHIST will guide him in dealing with the committee and the stresses of its labors.
Sam Korn (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) f/k/a Smoddy A, C, O
43, 34, 30
21,047 2004-10-08 RfA, MedCom, RfArb Questions - Voter Guide  Per his past exemplary record as an arb, his work in solving disputes, and his work with Checkuser, I believe Sam will make a good arb.
Secret (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) f/k/a Jaranda; Aranda56; Moneyballing A 29 3,241 2007-09-22 A RfA1, RfA2, RfA3, RfA4, RfA5, RfA6, RfA7, ER, RfArb Questions - Voter Guide  Withdrawn
Shell Kinney (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) f/k/a Jareth A 36 25,541 2005-06-10 A RfA, MedCom, RfArb1, RfArb2 Questions  I will admit I don't know Shell that well and had to review her answers very carefully. My primary reason for being neutral is that while she has done extensive work at Medcom and twice run for Arbcom, I don't see her comment that much at internal policy debates or noticeboards. Possibly engaging more in publicly difficult situations would change my vote in the future.
SirFozzie (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 17 6,547 2006-02-06 A, A, A, A,
A, C, C
RfA Questions - Voter Guide  I like SirFozzie and have worked well with him at AE. Even though it looks like he will not be elected, I think he would do best to review the comments made and try again next year.
The Fat Man Who Never Came Back (talk · contribs) a/k/a The Fat Man Who Left but Returned a Short While Later R 10 6,369 2006-05-29 Questions  No, he's a good writer and a good user, but the temperament issue required of things as grave as arbcom leads me to oppose.
Trojanpony (talk · contribs) 143 2005-12-06 Questions  While I am generally open minded, the extreme lack of editing experience renders me unable to support.
Vassyana (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA) A 18 10,892 2005-12-16 RfA, MedCom, ER Questions - Voter Guide  While I generally like Vassyana's style at Mediation, a very strong suit for him, I am concerned somewhat with his low monthly edit rate of about 250 edits per month. Being an arb involves a large time commitment and ideally arbs will involve themselves in other activities like content creation, checkuser, etc. Regretfully there are also only 7 seats, and while I find Vassyana to be an upstanding Wikipedian, there are other individuals I would prefer to sit on the committee. Therefore I am opposing.
White Cat (talk · contribs) f/k/a Cool Cat; Coolcat IPBE 6 42,914 2005-02-04 A, A, A,

RfA1, RfA2, RfA3, RfA4, MedCom, ER, RfArb Questions  Too erratic to be an arb, maybe with time though he could temper those concerns.

WJBscribe (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · moves · rights · renames · global renames) A, B
20, 12
44,088 2006-11-20 A, A RfA, RfB, MedCom Questions  WJBscribe is gifted at seeing how to approach and solve disputes, I believe he will be a good influence on the committee.
