A disability that limits my mobility (when it flares up) made me a digital entertainment enthusiast --basically tv shows, movies, music, etc. made for or appearing primarily on streaming platforms -- from almost the start, and I have a handful of other interests. Currently on a pandemic "inspired" sabbatical from my regular job and hoping to contribute here. I'm a great researcher, an experienced technical writer, and in my day job I enforce objectivity, verifiability, and professional distance in written copy, so helping out here might be a nice way to pass the time and leave something lasting.
I've read all the rules and I have no conflicts that I can think of, as I don't really know anyone or anything that might be notable, and I plan to avoid writing or editing anything about the organization I worked for. My regular consumption of digital media and early fandom of some digital shows, movies, music, and art (and the people behind them) has given me a lot of knowledge about a handful of them, but I have no connection to them and will only edit articles of things I'm a fan of if there is new information, something to be verifiably corrected, or if an editor has flagged the article asking for edits or more information. I assume that covers everything?
Thanks for welcoming me! - MHW
