I am new to editing Wikipedia. I am a native French speaker, and fairly good at English but I never achieved a B2 level because of grammatical intricacies. Writing and thinking in English comes pretty naturally to me but I still make mistakes sometimes.
I have joined Wikipedia mostly to participate in English Wikipedia, but I will occasionally translate articles from English to french.
I am considering practicing my German by trying my hand at translating German articles, but I will keep learning for a few months before trying that. I'm also very challenged by punctuation, sorry 🥺
The reason I did not join Wikipedia as an editor much earlier is that I really struggle with the wikicode, which is very challenging to read. I will try, but not too hard. I'll just let time be my teacher.
Where do you guys all find those fancy boxes? I want a fancy page too!
(I use a web browser addon (deadname Remover) that changes all "Mr" to Mme". It is possible that I may not notice it when I publish my changes but I will be more cautious now that I know it affects editing boxes on Wikipedia)
