River Street was a multidimensional transcendental punk blues fusion band created in 2017. It stemmed from a magickal place called The River Realm, in Jimmy and Maeves mansion. I am obviously changing names for security of the band and their family. The band name came from the street from the street in which jimmy and maeve lived on.
Maeve was the bluesy guitarist who could jam like it was going out of style. His wife, Jimmy was a nationally recognized chef. People from the River Realm would come and get her scrumptious snacks, sometimes skipping meals to eat them. This Michigan band would sell out entire shows. Their droves of followers would follow them everywhere and the local paparazzi would drive everyone mad. So much, in fact, that they often had to play shows in Ohio just to try and escape their level of popularity. The lead singer, JACK DANIELS, had the voice of an angel and the hips of elvis. They would sell every ticket when they played Frankies Inner City Toledo, a glorious venue where JACKs quiet aura and sober values gained him worldwide notoriety. They had some other guitarist. Their Ace of Bassist studied for 40 long years under bass master Funky Fresh. After that, they split apart, arguing about weather 5 Finger Death Punch was a good band. They quickly became Bass rivals. They didnt speak for 4 score, until these nemesis' met at The Captains Lounge in the Realm of Rivers, for one final Bass Battle. Legend has it that Funky Fresh lost to Ace of Bassist, and evaporated into a cloud of smoke, never to be seen again. There are many variations of this story. Ace of Bassist has given his account for this special occasion: Funky fresh auditioned for the lead role of bass god not the Ace of bassist was having none of it. They battle lasted centuries until finally funky fresh realized his defeat. He packed up his gear and fled the scene. Never to be seen or heard from again. The ace of bassist stood triumphant among the many patrons of the captains lounge. It was a battle no one would soon forget.
Before the Ace of Bassist, the band had a different bassist. Him and forgotten guitarist got into a verbal altercation that resulted in ORIGINAL BASSIST spartan kicking forgotten guitarist off of a Jimmy and Maeves massive deck. Original bassist left the band, and a spot opened up for Ace of Bassist. Who showed up to his first practice with all of the complex River Street riffs already memorized. Another member of the band joined at this time. Elias of the North.
Elias of the North was a noble percussionist, a God among men. He usually had masses of of sexual women, fighting for the change to carry him to practice on a chariot, or hand him a white claw.
Their loyal followers, Malice Magdaline, and Lotus Leaf would be at every show. They would elbow their way through the massive crowds of shirtless women, just to get a chance to record the band for YouTube. Magdaline did promotions for the band with Jimmy, starting at the 2018 St. Patricks day show at the Captains Lounge. Magdalines ex boyfriend stephen walked in and immediately killed the vibe. He heard many people laugh when she proclaimed, "im leavin, stephen!" And was asked to leave by every single person in the bar. He was not invited to this show. Ironically, he was River Streets biggest fan.
River Street was known for preforming live in Ann Arbor, often in Graffiti Alley. They got their start opening up for JACK DANIELS and his best friend Jimmy Beam's band Up Late.
None of these bands ever argued, and no player ever missed a practice.
River Streets practices would often turn into legendary parties. Unknown people began sneaking into Jimmy and Maeves mansion, to where it got out of control and security had to be hired.
River Street played, and nearly won, a Festival, in Toledo Ohio. It was at the Civic Music Hall, and the band Helmet also played. Along with a band known for its vibe killing frontman, 8:30 Drive.
Every legend is different on what happened to River Street. Some say that the popularity was getting to them and they chose to split apart for safety reasons. Some say they all were invited to play a show at Mount Olympus by Zeus himself and chose to never return. Some say, theyre in Hollywood, opening for Lenny Kravitz and Kid Rock.
If you are ever near the Realm of Rivers, on the Street of Rivers, legend has is that you can still hear funky blues tunes erupting from Jimmy and Maeves mansion...
