Husseiniyoun (Turkish: Hüseynçilər Liwā’ al-Fāṭamiyūn, حسینیون), literally "Husseinis", also known as Husseini Division, Husseini Brigade,[4] or Hezbollah Azerbaijan,[5] is an Azerbaijani Shia militia formed in 2019 to fight in Syria on the side of the government.
It is funded, trained, and equipped by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and fights under the command of Iranian officers.[1][6]
Since December 2019 Iran started to publicize its activity and export of the Husseiniyoun [7]
