I'm a 24 year old originally from Decatur, Illinois. I'm currently working on my PhD in Political Science at Purdue University, where I am majoring in Comparative Politics and minoring in International Relations. Additionally, I have a Masters degree in International Studies from the University of Denver, where I focuses primarily on international development and environmental policy. I also have a B.A. with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy.
Given my areas of expertise, most of the articles I'll edit will pertain to political science. My main areas of interest within the field are: international development (especially human capital development); post-communist transitions (particularly in Central Asia); liberalism; liberal international relations theory; geopolitics; international institutions and civil society; globalization and social democracy. I also have particularly strong regional interests in Central Asia, Southeast Asia and East Asia, though I am much more interested in the developing world generally than in the developed.
