Battle of Paveh is a battle during the Kurdish rebellion of 1979 in iran lasting from august 14th 1979 to august 19th 1979. During in this battle, thousands of Kurdish Parties including komala and KDPI attacked the city of Paveh and attempted to occupy the city. On the other hand, Several hundreds of Gendarmerie, Army, and IRGC defended the city, and to strengthen the defense of the city, around eighty members of the IRGC under the command of Asghar Vesali joined the defenders.
Until the 27th of August, the superiority was with the Kurdish parties and they were able to capture more or less all the city except the gendarmerie post and the IRGC barracks.
