Early Life
Mantis was brought up in the MetroWest region outside Boston, Mass in the late 60's and early 70's. In the mid-70's he began a series of moves through Eastern Mass and Southern New Hampshire until 1989 when he moved to Hollywood, Ca. In 2009 he moved back East to Wareham, Mass.
Education
Mantis attended both Los Angeles City College (2001-2004) and Los Angeles Mission College (2008) studying Television Production (earning a Certification in 2004), Multimedia Graphic Arts, Computer Sciences, Web Design and Digital Music Production.
Music Business
He began working concerts in 1982 with a Private Lightning show, followed by a Jim Carroll Band show. Over the next year he worked stage, sound and light, with Earcraft out of Dover, NH. In 1984 he entered the Boston scene picking up odd jobs at The Channel Club on the waterfront.

Television
As of Dec 31st, 2014 he has Produced/Hosted the TV show "On Stage with Mantis", a live concert series featuring Boston, Ma. area artists, for 6 years with an Industry Insider audience base. Season 5 began Feb 6th, 2014. He is a fast rising star on the IMDb Starmeter! The show helps support the entire music scene in the Greater Boston area and has given an international platform to dozens of Indie bands. On Stage with Mantis, has had a variety of talent from the Greater Boston area of all ages and genres.
Philosopher
He also created and runs the Mantis Society, a Philosophical Organization which oversees the Mantis Society Study Center (a developing Education Resource) unofficially in 1981 (as a Philosopher) and 2001 (creating the web site and becoming Ordained) respectively.
