Inscription stones in Bengaluru
editAbout 150 inscription stones were recorded in Bengaluru by BL Rice in volume 9 of Epigraphia Carnatica. While many of inscriptions have known to be lost, in 2018 a previously undocumented inscription stone traceable to 750 CE during the reign of the Western Ganga dynasty king Sripurusha was found in Hebbal.[1]
