Maranatha Sophia Goroh

Maranatha a rising star has a powerful and unique voice. She started singing at a very young age but officially started her singing career in 2013. She has shared the stage with great performers such as, South African gospel stars Rebecca Malope and Benjamin Dube. She performed on several international stages such as TBN Africa (during Praisathon) and Christian Family Churches, Johannesburg and the Bay Cape Town.


“Performing with Rebecca Malope is a dream come true for me. It is something I have always been looking forward singing with a woman of her caliber. It is an honour and a humbling experience and also an opportunity to learn from her. I am so grateful for the exposure”, said Maranatha.


Education

She is a graduate of Advanced Public relations from the University of Namibia and graduate of Rhema Bible College(2010)


Achievments

  • Bible College South Africa. She won two awards at the Annual Namibia music awards 2017 for Best Gospel and Best live performance of the year.
  • In 2018 Maranatha collaborated with former Joyous Celebrationlead singer Ntokozo Mbambo on a song entitled “all we need” and as well as collaborated on a song with season 1 South African idolswinner, Heinz Winkler entitled “A million bright torches.” Maranatha won the award for Best music atthe Namibia Gospel Awards 2018.
  • In 2019 Maranatha released her Sophmore Album entitled Intimate Love. On the Album she Collaborated with Heinz winkler, Ntokozo Mbambo, ShaunP, Naomi Classic and Pride
  • Maranatha won the Best Gospel Artist Award at the Namibian Music Awards 2020
