My name is Marcel de Jong, I’m from the Netherlands.
I’ve been taking pictures from aircraft ever since I was 11 years old, back in 1978.
I started my career at Soesterberg Airbase, which was close to my home at the time (30 minutes by bicycle). In those days I mainly used black & white film and sometimes slides. Nowadays I have joined the digital era with my Canon EOS 70d.
In Daily life I’m an attorney at law at my own lawfirm De Jong Van Mook Advocaten in Kerkdriel, in nightly life I’m a Kenpo Karate instructor at Katsudo Kenpo in Nieuwegein, which is also where I live.
