Andrey Fomin (Russian: Андрей Владимирович Фомин; born 3 Frebruary 1964) is a Russian actor, producer, promoter, showman.
Education
editIn 1988 Andrey Fomin graduated from Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. He also studied at The Advanced Course for Screenwriters and Film Directors at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (Vladimir Menshov workshop).
Career
editAndrey Fomin Production
editAndrey Fomin was one of the first Russian event producers. In 2004 he established his own company Andrey Fomin Production and during these 24 years he has been organizing large corporate and private events around the world (Moscow, London, Paris, Dubai, Aby Dhabi, Monaco, French Riviera, Instanbul, Sardinia, Florence etc.).
Show director
editIn 2017 he received an offer from Design Lab to stage a show at a private event in Abu Dhabi. The show took place at the Abu Dhabi exhibition center and was a success.
On January 5, 2018 Design Lab commissioned Andrey Fomin to stage a new show in Dubai which also had great success.

editAndrey Fomin is a creator of several annual events and awards:
- Annual awards for the most dubious achievements in the entertainment industry "Silver Galoshes";
- Annual Ball "Bal des Fleurs" in French Riviera;
- Independent restaurant Awards "Bay leaf" in Moscow and Saint Petersburg;
- Moscow Gastronomic Festival;
- "May Fashion" ball, "Top 100 most beautiful faces of Moscow", as well as "May Fashion" Ball and "Top 100 most beautiful faces of Ukraine" in Kiev and Almaty;
- "Night Life Awards" In Moscow and Saint Petersburg.
"Silver galoshes"
editIn 1996 Andrey Fomin became one of the creators and a permanent presenter of an annual prize for the most dubious achievements in the entertainment industry "Silver Galoshes". In 2014 acquired from radio station "Silver rain" all the rights to the ceremony "Silver Galoshes".
There were a lot of famous people among the presenters of the show: Ksenia Sobchak, Ivan Urgant, Alexander Gordon, Aleksandr Tsekalo.
The ceremony was broadcasted on the radio station "Silver rain" and on the Internet, as well as on the main TV channels.
SPOON restaurant guide
editAndrey Fomin created a special project SPOON Restaurant Guide - authoritative restaurant guide in Moscow, Russia and all over the world.
For more than 10 years under cover of Spoon there have been published an annual restaurant guide "100 best restaurants in Moscow" which includes the list of the most interesting and trendy gastronomic places in Moscow. In 2017 two more Spoon guides were created:
- "100 best restaurants in Russia";
- "50 best restaurants in Saint-Petersburg".
Apart from the restaurant list each guide has a big wine sections, special lists "5 best places". chefs' and critics' recommendations.

editIn 2018 Andrey Fomin became a partner in a new restaurant Gorynich - a project by Mikhail Zarkov, Ilya Tutenkov and Vladimir Mukhin.

editAndrey Fomin is also known as a theatre actor. In 1988-1991 he played at Vakhtangov Theatre. Nowadays he plays in many theatrical perfomances at the Moscow Theatre of Nations and at the theatre "Praktika".
