The Association of International Research and Development Centers for Agriculture (AIRCA, www.airca.org) was formed in 2012 by 9 international agricultural research and development centers (see below), each with extensive expertise in many geographic regions (>60 member countries comprising over 70% of world population) as well as in a range of agricultural crops. One of the objectives of AIRCA is to combine resources in order to contribute to healthy, sustainable and climate-smart landscapes which improve smallholders income and diets, as well as increases global food security.
