- Satisfy requests for copy-editing specific articles. If the article is long or difficult, you can list it for more proofreading under the appropriate section.
- Copy-edit any of Wikipedia's articles that need copy-edit, then remove the copy-edit tag ({{copyedit}}) from the article and list the article on Wikipedia:WikiProject League of Copyeditors/proofreading in the "Articles ready for final proofread" section.
- Copy-edit any of Wikipedia's [tagged for cleanup] that only need copy-editing.
- Recruit new members
- Read the sections "Requests for copy-editing assistance" and "In Progress" to see if you can give additional help.
