Marlow FM 97.5 is a UK based local community radio station broadcasting on FM and online 24/7. It launched it's FM service at midday on May 11th 2011 and is based at Longridge Activity Centre in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. The station was granted a 5 year FM licence by OfCOM in September 2010 and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. It currently broadcasts over 90 hours of live or recorded as live presented shows very week and gives air time every Tuesday 3.30-5.00pm for local online station Blink FM to broadcast on FM. Local Marlow school students will also get their opportunity to 'take to the air' in the near future using the same time slot two days a week.
In addition to the regular breakfast, mid-morning, lunch time and drive time shows, amongst it's many specialist programs are those covering alternative, Americana, blues, business, classic rock, country, dance, drum 'n' base, folk, health and well being, history of Marlow, Indie, jazz, pop, progressive, R & B, rock 'n' roll, soul, trance, underground and world music.
Every evening between 19:00-19:30pm Monday to Friday is the Children's Bedtime half Hour. The Cheeky Monkey Show goes out from 19:00-19:15pm followed by The Bedtime Story. From 19:30pm onwards there are a variety of specialist shows. Check the schedule for more details.
