Roch Roger Buchon, better known as solely Roch, is a Dutch-French recording artist.

Early life

Roch was born on December 22, 2003, in Purmerend, The Netherlands to a French father and a Dutch mother.

Career

Ever since the artist got into Melanie Martinez, he started writing songs and starting off his music career at the age of 14. On his Instagram's story he stated, "Melanie is such an amazing artist. Because of her I realized everyone could write songs with deeper meanings in which they relate to. She, together with other artists, opened the pathway to my career."

By dropping and removing numerous songs on his SoundCloud, he was experimenting with multiple different genres. On his YouTube Bio he talks about the experimenting: "Versatility is very important to him, explaining how he wants to swerve in between multiple genres, creating a unique sound."

On January 31st, 2021 the artist dropped his Youtube-Only hyperpop EP, "The Internet". According to himself he released this EP for fun and there was no intention for it to gain popularity.
