SAN JITSU (san jit su) SAN JITSU is a martial arts developed on the island of Guam (a Pacific Island Territory) [ 1 ] in 1971. San Jitsu was formulated in the Village of Toto, Guam by its Soke and Founder Grandmaster Frank E. Sanchez. [ 1-2 ] Grandmaster Sanchez has been a student of the martial arts since the age of 11. GM Sanchez holds Black Belts in Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, [3] thus combining both arts into one. The art of SAN-JITSU is the method of the 3 ways of "body, mind and spirit. San Jitsu was developed using Jiu Jitsu methods used in Judo, Karate and Kung Fu, which also encompasses grappling, kicking, throwing, striking with the use of pressure points, acupressure and resuscitation arts, it has unique rolling movements to take advantage of the opponents strength that will cause the incapacitation of the limbs of one's opponent. San Jitsu has received worldwide attention in [ 2 ] martial arts magazines such as Black Belt, Karate Star (India) Inside Kung Fu, and other pacific Island periodicals.
