Hello! I’m Masterpha. Although I’m not that active anymore, I’ll occasionally edit pages of interest where I think editing is necessary.
How I got into wikipedia
editOn June 8, 2017, I followed the UK general election and was amazed at how detailed wikipedia was to it’s results.
At the end of July 2017, the sitting Prime Minister of Pakistan was removed from office with a by-election was to take place in his constituency. If something similar had happened in the UK, the wikipedia page for his constituency would’ve been updated immediately and the by-election box would’ve been added. However, I learnt that in the Pakistani section of wikipedia, election pages were poorly developed. Hence, I decided to work a little bit on improving election pages for Pakistan, and try to make them as detailed as I could. As the world’s fourth largest country that holds regular elections, Pakistani election pages require significant improvement and I hope that one day they will match the same standard that other countries have achieved for their pages.
Pages I believe I have contributed to significantly
