Veteran USENET user (12 years) and former US Navy SEAL (5.5 years). Friends in high places and low places. I like some of the low places better sometimes. I have seen it all and then some but I like to stay home these days. I only eat when I am hungry and have a hard time finding clothes that fit (I am 6'6.25" tall). I live in the northern USA and sometimes out west. I can be a formidable enemy but prefer to be a friend. I like chocolate, rainbows, and the General Electric M61A1 Vulcan 20mm Cannon. Regarding my Jardin edits: I have been editing the Jardin page a lot because I have followed her career a long time. She's a very positive force in this world. The strange little gremlins who claim to hate her are typical of those who like to tear down any celebrity person. I have discovered in my long history that when people like that actually meet the person they hate, they usually fall apart and apologize profusely for their ugly behavior or they run away and hide because they have no spine unless they have a keyboard in their hands.
These kind of hater people are usually not well adjusted and are oftentimes physically ugly and the problem is really about their envy and jealousy and not the fault of the person they hate. The distance and anonymous nature of the internet is not all good but it is also not all bad. Distance is good for me sometimes because when I get angry things start to break. Fortunately I do not get angry too often. Matt N 23:51, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
Let me add to the above that you will rarely find confident, successful or well-adjusted individuals that will attack a person the way Jardin's attackers have attacked her. There is usually some issue that is eating away at an individual who makes it their business to denigrate others and especially so when it appears as a lifelong pattern.
I know because I have been there and I got over it thankfully because I got my ass kicked a few times and finally woke up and started acting like a real man and a real human being instead of a prick, which is what I was. Matt N 00:08, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
