Festival of India, Ottawa The Festival of India, Ottawa is an annual music and dance festival that takes place each August in downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It showcases culture and heritage of India through music, dance, workshops on yoga, handicrafts and Indian cuisine.
Organization
editFestival of India is a not for profit organization founded in November 2011 and is run 100% run by a team of volunteers. [1]
History
editThe festival was first held in 2012 from August 10th to 12th at LeBreton Flats park in Ottawa. From the consequent year it shifted its venue to Marion Dewar Plaza, in front of City Hall, Ottawa.
