Pharaoh,(Chinese: 孙权; pinyin: Sun Quan), was born on October 11, 1992 in Haining City, Zhejiang Province. He is a Chinese rap singer and songwriter.

In 2016, he founded the rap label "Walking Dead" and released the mixtape "East Coast", making his debut. In 2017, he released the music single "Intimate Lover 2017". In 2018, he released his personal original music album "Born in the Future", and won the "Best Chinese Rap MV Award" at the China Hip-Hop Awards Ceremony with the album song "Interview". Early experiences

Sun Quan was born in Haining, Zhejiang, China.。When Pharaoh was studying at the No. 1 Middle School in Haining City, Zhejiang Province, he had the dream of rapping. At that time, he was exposed to Wilber Pan's song "Happy Worship" and fell in love with hip-hop rap music. Later, he began to try to listen to more hip-hop rap music and learned to imitate singing. During the summer vacation of his senior year in high school, he tried music creation for the first time and strengthened his determination to pursue a career in music. In order to learn recording knowledge, he went to Jiaxing City to find a musician to learn from and learned mixing knowledge for two years.

In 2016, Pharaoh released the popular single "I Want," which gained widespread attention. He also released his third mixtape, "East Coast." That same year, Pharaoh, Rango, and Longqi founded the rap label Walking Dead.

In 2017, he released the single "Close Lover." Pharaoh participated in the show "The Rap of China" but was eliminated during the 60-second solo performance stage for performing a song with an overly long intro.[1] He signed with the AFSC hip-hop label and released the EP "Lone Ranger."

In 2018, he participated in the first season of "Rap for Youth" but was eliminated during the 1v1 battle stage after collaborating with Wang Yitai on "Waltz on the Cliff." He also released his first full-length album, "Born in the Future."

In 2019, Pharaoh released the mixtape "School High," with the single "School Dragon" gaining significant attention.

In 2020, he served as a mentor on the rap show "Listen to My Rap."[2] He also released the album "Science Fiction."

In 2021, he returned as a mentor for the second season of "Listen to My Rap."[3]

In 2022, Pharaoh released his third album, "Low Tide."

Public Service Activities

On May 24, 2023, Pharaoh donated all proceeds of his solo tour, totaling 1.29 million yuan, to the "Volunteer Veterans Assistance Program" under the People's Volunteer Army of China.[4]
