Massis Armen Bahador was born in the Ottoman Empire in 1910. In the 1920's, his family emigrated to Iran, where he lived until his uncle sent him to Venice, Italy to study at the xxxxx school. After graduation, he lived in Paris for 18 months until he was able to come to the United States to continue his education. Since his family had settled in Chicago, he attended the University of Illinois Dental School from whch he graduated in 1938. At the University of Iowa Dental School, he completed graduate work and Orthodontia and Pedodontia. He practiced in Chicago, Morton Grove and DesPlaines, Illinois. He was an accomlished artist and his colorful work is in many private collections throughout the U.S. and Europe. He signed his work "Armen." His wife Paula was a model for many of his paintings. They were happily married for 44 years. The lived in the Chicagoland area and had not children. He died in 1999.
