Started editing Wikipedia at the end of 10th grade, and created my account in the middle of 12th grade.

I've been interested in mathematical logic, set theory, general topology, and mathematical analysis (especially real analysis) from the start of 10th grade. I've been reading and scanning through various textbooks on mathematical analysis, and also read Wikipedia articles on it, but due to examinations, I didn't find the time, or have the discipline, to sit down and really work through a textbook, doing every excercise to its completion.

As I'm writing this (11th June, 2026), I will enter university in about a month's time, taking a mathematics honours course. Familiar with basic mathematical logic, and having a mild obsession for mathematical rigour, I figured the best way to spend my post-school and pre-university time is to dive headfirst into Rudin's Principles of Mathematical Analysis, which I've heard is an undergraduate level textbook, and which I've started working through a few weeks ago. I'm not certain if this is the best route to take just before university, but I'll continue for now, and may change my mind in the future.

I edit Wikipedia articles, primarily those concerning mathematical analysis. I attempt to explain things that I know in the way I believe is the way it should be explained, but opinions on that vary greatly.

As of now, I don't know what the university experience is like. Is mathematics taught from abstract foundations (mathematical logic, set theory) from day one, or does it vary from college to college? I would like to know, if there is anyone who has gone through university with an honours (major) in mathematics.

Edit as of 5th July, 2026: I will be starting college on 6th July, 2026. I may be taking considerably longer wikibreaks between edits, in order to focus on college.
