Veronica Nia Dorian Becnel (1949- November 10, 1990) was an American activist, preservationist and academic.
Biography
editBecnel started as the director of preservation studies at the University of Houston in the college of Architecture in 1985 and worked there until her sudden death.[1]
Becnel died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston on November 10, 1990, after a stroke.[1] She was buried in Paradise Cemetery in Acres Homes.[1]
