Abram Fieldy Abram Fieldy (1634-1692) was a 17th century mystic and shaman. He was an fervent promoter of goal-oriented use of hallucinogens. Most people then (and today still) use hallucinogenic substances for hedonistic purposes as mental escape from problems or just 'having a good time'. Fieldy tried instructing people about the applicably spiritual advantages psychonautism creates for people and their relation with nature. He spent his last days secluded in the forests of Poland, reportedly consuming vast quantities of ayahuasca. He was found dead in his house, having suffered a massive heart-attack.
