Mesut Ozdurmus

Mesut Ozdurmus graduated from Ankara University with a B.A. in Journalism in 2006. In 2010, he received his M.A. in International Relations (Program: World Politics) from Moscow State Institute of International Relations for his Master’s thesis titled “Eastern Partnership: A New Stage in the relations of Russia, the EU and the USA in the Post-Soviet Space”. Prior to defending the Master’s thesis, he had had an internship at the Center for Post-Soviet Studies at MGIMO University. His first book, “The Russia—EU—U.S. Triangle: Relations in the Post-Soviet Space (in Russian)”, was published in Moscow in 2011. His research interests include Comparative Politics, Theories of International Relations, Global Security, U.S. Foreign Policy, Russian Foreign Policy, EU Foreign Policy and International Energy Security.
