I plan to contribute to the George Otto Gey article a more comprehensive summary of his accomplishments (he had many outside of the HeLa cell line) and more information about his life and his lab.
List of potential sources: http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs11626-016-0128-8 https://www.pittmag.pitt.edu/mar2001/culture.html http://www.archivesofpathology.org/doi/full/10.1043/1543-2165-133.9.1463?code=coap-site
George Otto Gey's article needs:
A section on HeLa cells (it was deleted)
A section connecting his work with the HeLa cell line and modern day controversies
Information about his work developing tissue culture techniques
His involvement in the creation of the Tissue Culture Association.
