The Prime Minister of East Indonesia was the head of government in the State of East Indonesia, a BFO sponsored state, then state within the United States of Indonesia.
History
editThe position was first established following the agreement reached in the Denpasar Conference held in Denpasar, Bali in 1946, a President and a Prime Minister was elected on December 1946. The first person who was appointed with this capacity was Nadjamuddin Daeng Malewa, as prime minister-designate of the State of East Indonesia, he was inaugurated on 13 January 1947 along with the announcement of the first cabinet.
