The Revolutionary War Forces (Indonesian: Angkatan Perang Revolusioner, abbreviated APREV) was the military forces of the Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Indonesia. It was the main belligerent in the PRRI and Permesta rebellion against the central government forces from 1957 to 1961. In its Sulawesi branch, APREV was founded by four military commanders who formed four military division councils known as Dewan Banteng, Dewan Gajah, Dewan Garuda, and Dewan Manguni.
