List of largest rough diamonds

For clarity, I have attempted to list as many alternative names for the stones as possible. Since some stones have inadvertently been given the same name by previous authors, this has resulted in the use of duplicate names. For example, the name 'Great White' was applied at one time or another to two stones, which are better-known today as the Jacob and the Shizuka. Where this happened, I have used Roman numerals to distinguish between them, in chronological order; i.e. the Jacob, discovered in 1884, is referenced as "Great White I" and the Shizuka, discovered over a century later, is referenced as "Great White II". However, this convention has already been applied by earlier authors, and there are several famous diamonds named Victoria or Vitória, and two in particular that were known as Vitória I. I have listed these two particularly problematic stones as 'Vitória I-a' and 'Vitória I-b' for clarity.
