Hello Wikipedia World and fellow Wikipedians! I love Wikipedia! I especially like the sources lists, external links, and charts. My personal interests include good grammar, spelling, and writing in English, German, Latin and Dinarisian. I am very interested in genealogy (a descendant of King Edward I of England), history--particularly ancient history (especially Egypt, Mesopotamia, Central America) all over the world, languages, and heraldry. I used to collect stamps, coins, rocks, shells, fossils, antiques, etc., but after I became homeless the first time, I lost all these things being stored for me by family. Homelessness and related issues of hunger, poverty, unemployment, and lack of higher education are not only personal issues for me, but are causes I advocate to help eradicate, not just in my city of Indianapolis, Indiana, but worldwide in interest, limited to the states around Indiana in practical efforts.
I would like one day to be so bold as to actually write the beginnings of an article. I fully believe in the collaberation efforts of all people who expand, improve, and make our articles more informative and accurate. But most articles I would think of writing violate Wiki standards (such as writing about the fraternal organization Kingpire of Dinaris I founded, or any of my other personal accomplishments--me aggrandizing myself is inappropriate for Wikipedia, totally appropriate for my own site). Another reason I cannot write some articles I would like to is that they have already been started. As an editor, I would like to fix grammar and spelling errors, add some sources (Irish tribal genealogies definitly need better citations), and maybe I can expand some articles as I get more experienced and bold. Please point out any errors I make or miss, but please do not engage me in a flaming war over something. Just send me a note to fix it or remove it if considered inappropriate. Thank you for your time and interest. And thank you, all you Wikipedia contributors. I have found useful or needed information for my genealogy and history work, and access to online sources I could not find myself by the appropriate links attached to the articles. Thank you all for your interst and time.MichaelSchwing 03:30, 15 July 2012 (UTC)
