Frank Leichsenring
Frank "the Schlong" Leichsenring (*13. February 1960, Rodewisch, Saxony, Germany) is a German composer, guitarist, singer and founder of the band "Hellinger".
Early Life:
Frank was an a successful cross-country skier till one day, during a training run, he unfortunately ran over his third leg and fell, causing him to find other interests.
He then took up guitar and became a member of the Dresden band "Regenwiese" along with fellow members Peter Till, Jörg Herold, Dietmar Bayer and Gerd Ulbricht.
Career:
After studying architecture, he went on to become a successful architect and property developer.
This eventually enabled him to pursue his two life-long dreams:
- To return to making music professionally
- To open his own single malt whisky distillery
He has achieved both of these goals having formed the band "Hellinger" and, together with his old friend Thomas "Benny" Michalski, founding the "Dresdner Whisky Manufaktur".
Private life:
Frank is married (Ina Leichsenring), has a married son (Leo with Olivia) and a grandson (Hugo).
This just proves that he is really pretty old!
Frank reportedly has ties to the Australian mafia.
