Hi, I'm Mignon Wagner and happy to be here!
I'm a content marketeer and consumer psychologist from Hannover, Germany now based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Early in my education, I focussed on languages and social sciences, graduating with an International Baccalaureate (IB) with Psychology, Economics and Languages as focus points. Having studied Psychology (BSc) at the University of Sheffield, UK I specialized on economic and consumer psychology and clinical psychology. My dissertation was on time perception and its influence on the willingness and demand elasticity to spend on consumer goods. Having specialized in consumer psychology, I continued to study Economic and Consumer Psychology at the University of Leiden, the Netherlands. In my Masters (MSc) I specialized in the influence of time perception on tacit (non-explicit) coordination, a psycho-social phenomenon of communication that can accurately predict work behaviors and consumer behavior. I continue to educate myself on research and the applications of behavioral economics to Marketing, particularly in digital content and communication. This led me to work in content marketing for Jamf, a software company producing management solutions for Apple devices.
I enjoy using Wikipedia as a source of information in my ongoing studies and wish to contribute to it myself.
