Misheru32
editHi, I’m Misheru32 and I live in Saitama City, Japan although my hometown is Winnipeg, Canada.
About Me
editI am an analogue-based artist who specializes in drawing and printmaking for my labour of love and I am an instructor, technical writer, editor, and JE translator for my labour for wages.
My Example List
editI enjoy the following activities:
- Drawing
- Exploring Tokyo and the surrounding area
- Going to the beach
- Traveling
- Reading
- Cooking good food
- Eating good food
- Getting free tickets for art shows, art fairs, and symposiums
- Adding to my overly large collection of CDs.
Things I like
editI enjoy finding a cozy restaurant with friendly staff and fabulous food. I will go almost anywhere for the promise of popcorn but not for a beer. I seem to be helping the underdog quite often and that is why I am here. I would like to increase the presence of artists active in their field but who might not be well known in the English-speaking world.
Example Link
editI love to introduce both my work and those of my artist friends who have little or no online presence on my blog.
I enjoyed meeting Rokudenashiko and love the artwork of Nanami Ishihara.
Example Citation
editI read an interesting article about multiculturalism in Asia by Lee Wen. [1]
I also read more information about a show I saw of Japanese women artists who specialized in nihonga. [2]
