CSOP Asset Management Ltd (“CSOP”) was founded in 2008 as the first offshore asset manager set up by a regulated asset management company in China. With a dedicated focus on China investing, CSOP manages private and public funds, as well as provides investment advisory services to Asian and global investors. It is the largest Renminbi Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (RQFII) asset manager globally. CSOP is headquartered in Hong Kong and has offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Switzerland, Germany and Italy.

CSOP Asset Management Limited was founded in 2008 as the first offshore entity set up by a regulated Chinese asset management company. The company's major shareholders are China Southern Asset Management Co., Ltd and OP Financial Investments Limited.
2009
CSOP Launched its first Greater China-focused hedge fund to investors.
2011
Two UCITs IV compliant private placement funds, focusing on RMB high yield and Greater China equities, were registered and launched in Luxembourg.
2012
CSOP Launched CSOP Shen Zhou RMB Fund in Hong Kong in February. It was both the company's 1st RQFII fund product as well as its first public fund product.
CSOP's second RQFII fund product-- FTSE China A50 ETF-- was listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited in August.
2013
CSOP FTSE China A50 ETF was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, representing the Exchange's first ETF-JDR RQFII fund product.
2014
CSOP Source FTSE China A50 ETF was listed on the London Stock Exchange as the first Europe RQFII ETF.
CSOP China 5-Year Treasury Bond ETF was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as the first RQFII Bond ETF globally. [1]
2015
CSOP FTSE China A50 ETF ("AFTY") was listed on the NYSE Arca in March. AFTY tracks the performance of the FTSE China A50 (CNHUSD) Net Total Return Index, providing exposure to the 50 largest stocks on the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges. It was the first ETF listed independently in the United States by a Chinese asset management company, and, with more than $237 million in assets and 13.96 million shares, it was the largest initial capital investment among all US-listed equity ETFs since 2007.[2]
CSOP MSCI China A International Hedged ETF ("CNHX") and CSOP China CSI 300 A-H Dynamic ETF ("HAHA") were listed on the NYSE Arca in October. CNHX seeks to provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, track the performance of the MSCI China A International with CNH 100% Hedged to USD Index. In addition, HAHA seeks provide investment results that, before fees and expenses, track the performance of the CSI 300 Smart Index. [3]
