- ^ Australia (AUS): Central Coast Mariners qualify as either premiers or runners-up; the only other team that can become the premiers is Wellington Phoenix, who cannot qualify for Asian Football Confederation competitions as they are based in New Zealand, which is under the Oceania Football Confederation.
- ^ South Korea (KOR): Pohang Steelers had already qualified as the 2023 K League 1 runners-up when they won the 2023 Korean FA Cup. Thus, third-placed Gwangju FC qualified for the Champions League Elite qualifying play-off.
