Michael Donatelli is currently a student at the University of Dayton studying music education. His primary instrument is viola, but he also plays the organ, bagpipes, piano, flute and piccolo. He was on Broadway for one day as he sat in the pit of The Phantom of the Opera. He has composed one symphony as well as other pieces. He has performed with notable violists such as Veronica Salas and is currently studying under Sheridan Currie of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. He is also a member of the Flyer Pep Band, and can be seen playing piccolo at University of Dayton basketball games.
