A good article (GA) is a Wikipedia article that meets a core set of editorial standards, the good article criteria, passing through the good article nomination process successfully. They are well-written, contain factually accurate and verifiable information, are broad in coverage, neutral in point of view, stable, and illustrated, where possible, by relevant images with suitable copyright licenses. Good articles do not have to be as comprehensive as featured articles (FA), but they should not omit any major facets of the topic: a comparison of the criteria for good and featured articles describes further differences.
Currently, out of the 6,918,043 articles on Wikipedia, 40,579 are categorized as good articles (about 0.59% or one in 171), which are listed below. An additional 6,626 are listed as featured articles (about 1 in 1,050) and 4,519 as featured lists (about 1 in 1,540). Because articles are only included in one category, a good article that has been promoted to featured status is removed from the good articles category. Adding good and featured articles and lists together gives a total of 51,724 articles (about 0.75% or one in 134). A small plus sign inside a circle () in the top-right corner of an article's page indicates that the article is good.
The process for designating an article as a good article is intentionally straightforward. Any significant contributor to an article may nominate it if they believe it meets the good article criteria. Any impartial editor may review it from the queue of good article nominations. If it meets the criteria, it is added to the list of good articles below. There are instructions for nominators and reviewers. Similarly, anyone who believes that an article no longer meets the good article criteria may propose to delist it by following the instructions for reassessment.

World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., d/b/a WWE, is an American integrated media and entertainment company[8][9] that is primarily known for professional wrestling. WWE has also branched out into other fields, including movies, football, and various other business ventures.
The WWE name also refers to the professional wrestling promotion itself, founded in the 1950s as the Capitol Wrestling Corporation. It is the largest wrestling promotion in the world, holding over 500 events a year, with the roster primarily divided up into three globally traveling brands,[10] and is available to about 36 million viewers in more than 150 countries. The company's global headquarters is located in Stamford, Connecticut, about 30 miles from New York City, with offices in major cities around the world.[11][12]
As in other professional wrestling promotions, WWE shows are not legitimate contests, but purely entertainment-based performance theater, featuring storyline-driven, scripted, and choreographed matches, though matches often include moves that can put performers at risk of injury, even death, if not performed correctly. This was first publicly acknowledged by WWE's owner Vince McMahon in 1989 to avoid taxes from athletic commissions. Since the 1980s, WWE publicly has branded its product as sports entertainment, acknowledging the product's roots in competitive sport and dramatic theater.
The company's majority owner is its chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon, who retains a 42% ownership of the company's outstanding stock and 70.5% of the voting power.[13][14]
The current entity, incorporated on February 21, 1980, was previously known as Titan Sports, Inc., which was founded that same year in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts. It acquired Capitol Wrestling Corporation Ltd., the holding company for the World Wrestling Federation, in 1982.
Titan was renamed World Wrestling Federation, Inc. in 1998, then World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. in 1999, and finally the current World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. in 2002. Since 2011, the company has officially branded itself solely as WWE though the company's legal name was not changed.[15][16]

Current champions
edit- Men's singles
At the top of WWE's championship hierarchy for male wrestlers are the WWE Championship on Raw, the Universal Championship on SmackDown, and the NXT Championship on NXT. The WWE Champion is Drew McIntyre, who is in his first reign. He won the title by defeating Brock Lesnar during WrestleMania 36 Part 2 that aired on tape delay on April 5, 2020; the event was taped on March 25 and 26, though it is currently unknown which day this match took place.[102] The Universal Championship is held by Braun Strowman, who is in his first reign. He won the title by defeating Goldberg during WrestleMania 36 Part 1 that aired on tape delay on April 4, 2020; the event was taped on March 25 and 26, though it is currently unknown which day this match took place.[103] The NXT Championship is held by Keith Lee, who is in his first reign. He won the title by defeating Adam Cole in a Winner Takes All match—in which Lee also defended the NXT North American Championship—on July 1, 2020 in Winter Park, Florida at The Great American Bash (aired July 8 as Night 2 of the event).[104]
Secondary titles for male wrestlers include the United States Championship on Raw, the Intercontinental Championship on SmackDown, and the North American Championship on NXT. The United States Championship is held by Apollo Crews, who is in his first reign. He won the title by defeating Andrade on the May 25, 2020, episode of Raw. The Intercontinental Championship is held by first-time title holder AJ Styles, who defeated Daniel Bryan during the June 8, 2020 tapings of SmackDown (aired June 12) in the finals of a tournament for the vacant title; previous champion Sami Zayn was stripped of the title after electing to refrain from competing during the COVID-19 pandemic. The North American Championship is currently vacant as previous champion Keith Lee voluntarily relinquished the title during the July 15, 2020 taping of NXT (aired July 22) to focus on defending the NXT Championship; the next North American Champion will be deterimined in a five-man ladder match at TakeOver XXX on August 22, 2020.[105]
- Men's tag team
Tag team championships for male wrestlers include the Raw Tag Team Championship, the SmackDown Tag Team Championship, and the NXT Tag Team Championship. The Raw Tag Team Championship is held by The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford), who are in their first reign. They won the title by defeating Seth Rollins and Murphy in a last chance match on the March 2, 2020, episode of Raw.[106] The SmackDown Tag Team Championship is held by Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura, who are in their first reign as a team but second for Cesaro individually. They defeated The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) in a tables match on July 19, 2020, at The Horror Show at Extreme Rules. The NXT Tag Team Championship is held by Imperium's Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner, who are in their first reign. They defeated former champion Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher (who was substituting for Pete Dunne) on the May 13, 2020 episode of NXT.
- Specialty
The WWE 24/7 Championship is a tertiary championship shared across all five brands and is open to anyone regardless of gender (including non-WWE personnel). It can be defended anytime, anywhere, as long as a WWE referee is present. The current champion is R-Truth, who is in his record 38th reign, He defeated Akira Tozawa (by rolling him up on the entrance ramp) on August 3, 2020 during the Raw tapings (aired August 10).
The NXT Cruiserweight Championship is the only championship of the 205 Live brand and is also defended on NXT and NXT UK. It is for wrestlers 205 lb (93 kg) and under (referred to as cruiserweights); the only championship in WWE with a weight limit. The title is held by Jordan Devlin from NXT UK, who is in his first reign. He won the title by defeating former champion Angel Garza, Travis Banks, and Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, who Devlin pinned, in a fatal four-way match at Worlds Collide on January 25, 2020.[107] Due to a travel ban as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Devlin is unable to defend the title. An interim champion is serving as titleholder in the United States until Devlin's return. Santos Escobar is the current interim champion in his first reign. He won the title (under the persona of El Hijo del Fantasma) by defeating Drake Maverick in the interim championship tournament final during the May 27, 2020, tapings of NXT (aired June 3).
