Fio360 is an "early eco care" center and "learning boutique." Located within the Atlantic Station development in Midtown Atlanta, Fio (Latin for "to become") is intended to provide children from infancy to kindergarten age with environmentally-minded care and education on how to lead a "green" lifestyle. The center was founded by Crissy Klaus, the wife of internet security pioneer and entrepreneur Chris Klaus.
Environmental Considerations
editFio360's facility meets the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standard for environmentally sustainable buildings.[1] Children are fed nutritious food made from locally grown and/or organic ingredients, prepared in-house by the center's chef. All cleaning solutions and child care products, including diapers, are completely non-toxic and include as many natural elements as possible.
Educational Cirriculum
editFio's cirriculum is built around four core philosophies pertaining to children, the environment, families, and the daycare's setting.
