My name is Matthew Maggay and I am currently a junior at Marquette University. I was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California and decided to leave in order to come to Marquette. I am a Physiological Sciences major and have a desire to either attend medical or graduate school. I have a sufficient scientific background as I have interned at Amgen where I specifically observed activities of Tumor necrosis factors. In addition to being a student, I also play the Cello and have done so for 15 years. I also play a number of other instruments including the piano, the bass guitar, and the drums. Another big interest of mine is golfing, which I used to play competitively in high school and still play to this day. Our team advanced to the state playoffs during my season season, although eventually losing out on the state championship.
