Ty Sho formally named MMI is a Contemporary musician born Tendai Shoniwa on the 6th of November 1994, in Rusape, Zimbabwe. Born to mother Lucia Gundah, Ty Sho is the eldest in a family of four, and besides pursuing music he has ventured into the Health department where he`s taken up Nurse Aiding (currently).
He realized his talent during his high school years while being in the Drama Arts Club, in 2012-13 at Churchill High School. And he later stepped into the studio to drop his first EP titled 'PLEASURES & PAIN' in the year 2018, hence the beginning of Ty Sho by then who went by the stage name MMI. The EP consisted of some great tracks like I LOVE YOU, SPEECHLESS and LIPSTICK. In that same year he collaborated with Chale Versace on the track DON'T(WALK AWAY) that was a smash in the Mashonaland East province alone.
In the year 2018 Ty Sho joined the arts group Dream Team and together they released countless tracks the likes of MUSHE. In 2019 he feature on Chale Versace's track VHURAI NZIRA which was aired on the a number of Zimbabwean radio stations and that contributed to his local fame. NYARARA MOYO his first single and last track of 2019 was released for the world to hear. To some it was a powerful, emotional track of all time in Zimbabwe. The track was aired live on the Zimbabwe local TV station ZBC TV and got many likes. Ty Sho in the year 2020 dropped yet another hit TOGETHER, but didn't get much as attention as his last. And for the most part of the year his music depleted due to other commitments besides his music that had risen. Only in year 2021 did he emerge out of hibernation, re-branded himself and had his fourth collaboration with Chale Versace on yet another of his tracks HUPENYU released late of 2021.
